Sleep Quality Score

Based on the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index

How Well Are YOU Sleeping?

This is a quick test of 7 different aspects of sleep that is based on a common tool researchers use. Known as the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, this tool measures sleep quality and disturbances over a 1-month period.

During the next few minutes, you'll answer simple questions like how much trouble you may have falling asleep, how long you sleep, and how many times you get up during the night. The tool calculates these answers and provides a score from 0 to 21 that is based on your input. The higher your score, the poorer your quality of sleep.

Your answers will also help you to create a Sleep Discussion Guide. Use the information from this guide to have an informed discussion about your sleep quality with your healthcare provider during your next visit.
